Dyna Drug Ethinyl estradiol 35 mcg, norethisterone 400 mcg OC 1 tab/day beginning on the 5th day of menstrual period for 21 days, then 7 tab-free days. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (eg dysmenorrhea, endometriosis & ovarian dysgenesis) 1 tab daily for 21 days. May be taken with or without food. Liver disease eg Dubin-Johnson & Rotor syndromes, benign cholestatic jaundice of pregnancy. Breast & genital cancer, thrombophlebitis &/or thromboembolic phenomena. Myomata uteri, CVA, CV & renal diseases, DM, epilepsy, migraine & ophthalmological problems. Pregnancy & lactation. Breast ache, nausea, headache & dizziness. Enzyme-inducing drug eg carbamazepine, griseofulvin, phenobarbitone, phenytoin & rifampicin. Oral Contraceptive G03AA05 - norethisterone and ethinylestradiol ; Belongs to the class of progestogens and estrogens in fixed combinations. Used as systemic contraceptives. Rx |
