Endure Medical Per 150 mcg/30 mcg Levonorgestrel 150 mcg, ethinyl estradiol 30 mcg. Per 250 mcg/50 mcg Levonorgestrel 250 mcg, ethinyl estradiol 50 mcg Contraception & abnormal menstrual bleeding. 1 tab for 21 days followed by a 7-day interval during menstrual bleeding. May be taken with or without food. History of thrombophlebitis or thromboembolic disorders; CAD & cerebrovascular disease; known or suspected breast cancer & estrogen-dependent neoplasia; undiagnosed abnormal genital bleeding; benign or malignant liver tumor; osteoclerosis, herpes infections, Dublin-Johnson & Rotor syndromes. Known or suspected pregnancy. DM, HTN, cardiac, renal or gall bladder disease; migraine, epilepsy, depression, asthma; immobilization or presence of various veins. May cause eye irritation for contact lens users. Obese, patients >35 yr, cigarette smokers. May cause allergic reactions including bronchial asthma in susceptible person. Lactation. Breakthrough bleeding, spotting, menstrual irregularities, vag candidiasis, amenorrhea, infertility, dysmenorrhea, breast enlargement, tenderness & secretion, altered libido; HTN, thrombophlebitis, thrombosis; nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, change in appetite, cholestatic jaundice; migraine, depression. ACE inhibitors, adrenergic neuron blockers, α-blockers, AIIA, β-blockers, Ca channel blockers, clonidine, diazoxide, hydralazine, methyldopa, minoxidil, moxonidine, nitrates, nitroprusside; TCAs, antidiabetics, warfarin, phenindione, diuretics. Category X: Studies in animals or human beings have demonstrated foetal abnormalities or there is evidence of foetal risk based on human experience or both, and the risk of the use of the drug in pregnant women clearly outweighs any possible benefit. The drug is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant.
